With my recent discovery of Pinterest, and my obvious love of good food, I stumble upon GREAT recipes every time I hit the web (or public library for that matter – cook books are awwwsome).
Every week, I share my finds with you here! This week, we´ve got 4 amazing dinner recipes on the menu.
Table of Contents
1. EASY SHRIMP & BROCCOLI STIR-FRY
Quick, easy and very satisfying! I had it with noodles, but you can also serve it alongside brown rice. Link to recipe here.
NOTE: for the sauce, I only used 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, and skipped on the rice vinegar and added sugar. The sauce was delicious nonetheless! There is no need for the extra added sugar, you can shamelessly leave it out of the recipe. If you would like to enhance the flavor use a chili pepper for a spicy twist.
Also, I used pre-cooked shrimps, which means I first cooked the garlic and broccoli, and then added shrimps last. Cooking shrimps for too long makes them chewy so you want to always make sure to add pre-cooked shrimps to the pan when you know you´ll be done heating everything in max 5 minutes.
2. ITALIAN WONDERPOT
Quick, clever and culinary! It´s a quick one pot dish full of Italian flavors, amazing! Link to recipe here.
3. VEGGIE FRIED RICE
The perfect recipe for cold, leftover rice. This fried rice recipe gives you a chance to fill up with veggies, which is a nice change from carbs only! You´ll find yourself never serving plain ol´ rice again! Link to recipe here. P.s. scroll waaaaay down for the actual recipe, first there´s a lot of pictures and cozy chit-chat. But seriously, doesn´t it look beautiful?
4. PIZZA ROLL UPS
Low in carbs? No.
Low in calories? I don´t think so.
But, fun to make + appetizing to look at + amazing to eat? ——– YES, YES, YES!!!
I can´t think of anything that would make a bunch of grown men and girls with an appetite happier on a Sunday afternoon! Link to recipe here.
Thanks for reading, see you next week! 🙂 <3
